 Hello! My name is Sophie B. I have been coming to Hebrew School for 5 1/2 years. In the middle of first grade, I moved here from New York. I didn't know a lot of people. When it finally came time for my first day of Hebrew School I was a little frightened. My teacher was Morah Bluma, who was, and is, a compassionate and kind hearted person.
After a couple of years, Morah Shterna was my teacher. We did so many crafts and projects it was wonderful. Then Rabbi Mendy became my teacher. We had an amazing time. He is the best storyteller! We learned about all the Jewish heroes and for every one, there was a story.
One of my favorite times at Hebrew School would be when we did the Minute-to-Win It Pesach Seder. We got to do so many activities and games. Another time was the Purim carnival. I was a helper at the corn hole station. I got to help so many kids and had a really fun time.
I would like to say thank you to my Mom and Dad for letting us come to Hebrew School and driving and picking up every Tuesday. I would also like to say thank you to all the teachers for teaching us and helping us. Thank you for guiding us, inspiring us and making us what we are today. This is my last year here and it was great one.

Hi Mendy and Bluma,

Just a small message to say thank you for all you do.  Last week, A. was in an art class in school and the teacher asked them to drop something spring related.  A. and D.R. asked the teacher if they could draw something "Jewish".  The teacher said sure and boys decided to draw Mordechai.  I have his painting at home. :)
