The Poway Hebrew School is a place for Jewish children in K-8th grade to learn about their rich Jewish heritage, the Hebrew language, prepare for Bar & Bat Mitzvah and hang out with friends. PHS is located at the beautiful Chabad of Poway. Our Tuesday afternoon program is designed for elementary school aged children to experience their Jewish heritage in an upbeat, hands on and creative atmosphere during the school year.
The Poway Hebrew School is run by Rabbi Mendy and Bluma Rubenfeld.
Our students come from diverse Jewish backgrounds but are all excited to come each week to join with friends at 4:30-6:30pm, and enjoy creative learning experiences with warm and loving teachers who are passionate about what they do. No experience necessary, no membership or synagogue dues required. Our programs are really exciting and different, come try a class for free!
